Making a case for mismatched prints

From Margot Robbie’s stunning vintage lace dress to Nina Dobrev’s floral appliqué dress at friend Julianne Hough’s wedding, we’ve been loving seeing what celebrity bridesmaids wore to walk down the aisle ahead of their brides.

So we were quite excited to see these pictures pop up of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, especially as they’re notoriously absent from social media.

The twins were both bridesmaids at their friend Cassie Coane’s wedding in New York, and as as we’ve come to expect from their style, the dresses they wore were very unexpected.

In the pictures, under the hashtag #mrandmrsflames, the bridesmaids, all 18 of them, pose with the bride in front of a beautiful house with big white columns, which we're assuming was the wedding venue or could be the bride’s house.

In keeping with the bride’s floral lace dress, the women have all opted for mismatched floral print dress, in various colours.

Ashley, posing just behind the bride to the left, wore a black and white dress with oversized sleeves, paired with gold statement earrings.

Meanwhile, true to her love of vintage, Mary-Kate, to the far right, wore a kimono style dress embellished with giant orange roses, which she accessorised with some green satin mules.

Not one to do things by halves, she also added a floral crown to match her dress, as well as drop earrings and a pearl necklace.

We must admit, all the dresses came together beautifully, and the best thing is, these are dresses all the bridesmaids will be able to wear again.
