)In one of the coolest wedding albums we’ve seen this year, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen unveil their debut foray into wedding dress design. The bride in question was the twins’ childhood friend, stylist Molly Fishkin, who married director Asher Levin in a stunning LA mansion.
Mary-Kate and Ashley created and fitted the bespoke dress - the flared flute sleeves on which nodded to the bride’s style icon godmother Stevie Nicks, who was also in attendance and gave an impromptu performance of Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide at the evening reception. Does it get any chicer than this? (See all the beautiful pictures in the gallery above.)
As both Mary-Kate and little sister Elizabeth Olsen are getting married in the next year (engaged to Olivier Sarkozy and Boyd Holbrook respectively) we wonder whether this will be the first of many wedding dress commissions that The Row designers will take on.
Speaking exclusively to Marie Claire UK, Elizabeth Olsen discussed the potential of a double-wedding with her older sister; “No [that won't happen]. I just told her she gets to pick a date first!” she laughed. “I’m relaxed about it, but I’m excited and planning ideas because it’s fun – it’s just like throwing a party to celebrate life. I love being in a relationship.”
