Prince William and Kate Middleton have posed for their very first glamorous photoshoot, before famed fashion photographer Mario Testino.
William's office has confirmed that the royal couple called on Testino to take a set of official engagement snaps, which will be released later this month.
A natural choice for the Prince, Testino has not only photographed him before, but took some of the most iconic photographs of Princess Diana, memorably just one month before her tragic death in July 1997.
The set of pictures, which were later exhibited at Kensington Palace in 2005, were taken to mark a charity auction of Diana's dresses and were said to be some of William and Harry's favourite shots of their mother.
Speaking of the famous shoot, Testino commented: 'She said to me at the time (that) her children had said to her it was the most 'her' they had seen.'
Following his appointment as engagement photographer, it is now rumoured that Testino may take the helm for the much-anticipated big day, as official royal wedding photographer.
