Bono and Ali Hewson's eco-fashion label, Edun Live, and sustainable labelling pioneers, Made-By, have joined forces to celebrate Made-By's 5 year anniversary and are launching a limited edition range of T-shirts.
With a 'RESPECT' print emblazoned across the front, the new T-shirts make a great addition to any fashion conscious person's wardrobe.
The design is the result of a competition to offer young, aspiring designers a chance to create a sustainable themed T-shirt. After a public vote, a winning design by Dianne Delahunty, was chosen.
She says, 'I've been an Edun fan since its launch and jumped at this opportunity. I chose to use the words respect and each letter is created with items that, to me, symbolise sustainability, raising awareness of social and environmental issues'.
The T-shirts will be made from certified organic cotton and €5 from each one sold will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Society in support of the Conservation Cotton Initiative. This initiative helps African farmers shift to organic farming methods while protecting wildlife habitats.
The T-shirts cost £27 and will be available to buy in store and online from ethical fashion retailer Ascension.
