A first look at Louboutin's new children's collection
And no, there aren't any stilletto rollerblades

And no, there aren't any stilletto rollerblades
While ladies all over the world are out here hustling for a pair of Louboutin’s red sole heels, the couture shoe brand is branching out into younger demographic - and we mean, really young. Christian Louboutin has revealed the fruits of their Goop collaboration and it’s an absolutely adorable children’s footwear range called Loubibaby.
There’ll be no towering heels, spiked brogues or roller skate skilettos in sight as the capsule collection focuses on a classic Mary Janes. Available in pink, red and blue satin as well as a shimmery gold fabric, it’s all very Parisian chic with an oversized bow adding a dash of whimsy. Of course, it wouldn’t be Louboutin without a red sole and Loubibaby’s kicks will be getting the same treatment.
The collection will be available to buy exclusively on Goop's website and at their holiday pop-ups on November 16. While they’re utterly chic, they come with a less chic price tag of USD$250 (roughly £187).
Gwyneth Paltrow, Goop co-founder and longtime friend of Christian Louboutin, said of the collaboration, ‘Goop’s fashion ethos has always centred on trendless quality. It was an honour to work with Christian and his team to design the quintessential collection of fall classics.‘
To be honest, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Princess Charlotte stepping out in a pair of these later this year. They’re true to Kate’s simple yet sophisticated aesthetic and we bet the royal is eyeing these up, waiting for the moment the collection drops online.
Louboutin said of the collaboration, ‘I remember the first conversation which led to the collaboration. There is nothing that I favour more than a good tete-a-tete, and for that, Gwyneth is a great partner in crime. When friendship meets work, the results are serious fun.’
