London fashion week to be streamed online

Take in the latest designer looks from your sofa this year.
Standing in queues for hours, no time to eat, dehydrated and with aching feet: all habitual fashion week hazards.
But now, with the news that the shows at London fashion week are set to be streamed live online, you can kick back and watch all the action from your sofa - hopefully with a cup of tea and a custard cream.
Yes, that's right, fashion has finally moved fully into the 21st century and this year you'll be able to watch all of the shows from February 19 to 24 at the British Fashion Council tent on your computer. For once pipping New York, Milan and Paris to the post, London will be the first and only fashion capital where this takes place.
As if it wasn't enough to watch all the action as it happens on the catwalks, some designers including Hussein Chalayan, Twenty8Twelve (Sienna and Savannah Miller's label) and Danielle Scutt will also be posting fashion films on the website.
CEO of the British Fashion Council Caroline Rush called the move 'a significant step in developing our digital strategy. Enhancing designers' experience and reach through London Fashion Week is an important area of development for the future.'
You'll find the shows and videos at londonfashionweek.co.uk/digitalschedule.
