London Fashion Week: Sitting pretty at Matthew Williamson

Sienna Miller turns out to watch Matthew Williamson's ultra-feminine London Fashion Week show
As befits a capital famed for its melting pot of ideas and influences, London Fashion Week has been a diverse melange of styles and trends so far, but if there's one look that's been in short supply it's 'pretty'.
Thank heavens then for Matthew Williamson who this afternoon turned out an ultra-feminine, ultra-luxe collection of gorgeous dresses, stunning evening gowns and some seriously covetable jackets.
Watched from the front row by Williamson's No1 fan, Sienna Miller, who sat alongside The City's Olivia Palermo (who, for the record, has the shiniest hair we've ever seen), Matthew's models made their way down the runway sporting silk asymmetric cocktail dresses and high-waisted pleated skirts in signature Williamson prints, beautifully cut jackets that nipped in at the waist and kicked out over the hips and, finally, a procession of flowing evening gowns that wouldn't look out of place on tonight's Bafta red carpet.
The unifying theme: everything was simply, seriously beautiful.
For London girls looking for an alternative to the tom-boy styling and military detailing seen elsewhere this weekend, Matthew's got pretty luxury all sewn up for the coming season.
