Lily Cole swaps catwalks for Cambridge
Lily Cole has swapped the catwalks for college this week, as she embarks on her first term at Cambridge University.
Just a week after being unveiled as the cover girl of the latest French Playboy, Parisian style was clearly on the model's mind, as she arrived at the King's College swearing-in ceremony wearing a beret and classic beige mac.
The cover has proven a controversial move for the model, who defended her decision to pose nude, saying, 'Nudity has always existed in art, and I think that, given the right conditions, it doesn't necessarily 'debase' any more than it celebrates or represents the human body.'
The 20-year-old will start a three-year history of art degree at the prestigious college this week. She deferred her place for two years to concentrate on modelling, which she plans to still pursue between studying.
