Lily Allen launches first jewellery collection
Model, singer, songwriter, and now designer – is there anything that Lily Allen won't turn her hand to?
Debuting her latest style endeavour, the songstress invited the fashion press to tea at Claridge's yesterday, where she was personally on hand to show off her first ever collection of jewellery.
Characterised by colourful enamel and diamante clad pendants, the self-titled line features an array of smiley faces, giant pears, cherrys, fishes pandas and flamingos, all dangling from silver chains, rings, earrings and bracelets.
As for her inspiration, and the singer didn't have to look too far. The smiley faces, for example, are replicated from a tattoo on her wrist, while the pandas are inspired by her fancy dress costume of choice.
The collection will go on sale this September at H Samuel and Argos, with price starting ranging from £30 to £100.
