The high street meets designer collaboration sparked shopping hysteria as it went on sale yesterday
Dying to get your hands on a piece of Lanvin for H&M? Well good luck, fashion fans, as the must-have collection sold out within hours of going on sale yesterday.
Speaking scenes of retail hysteria around the country, eager stylistas camped for hours outside the high street stores ready for the doors to open at 9am.
And then the frenzy really began…
Shoppers were given coloured wrist bands allowing them an allocated time within the store to buy and browse, and were permitted to buy just one of each design.
H&M confirmed that the majority of the 80 designs from the collection sold out within hours, although there are still a few accessories and menswear pieces to be found in store.
Lanvin's Alber Elbaz is the latest in a long line of prestigious designers who've signed up to design for the high street haven, including Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor & Rolf.
