Last night was the very first time Duchess Kate wore this
Last night the royal family hosted a State Banquet for President Trump and his wife Melania during their three-day UK visit.
Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge were also present during the formal dinner, and followed royal etiquette by dressing in their finest attire.
Kate again opted for one of her favourite designers, by wearing a white Alexander McQueen ruffled ballgown which featured a sweetheart neckline.
She also wore the blue red and white sash of the Victorian Order, the first time since being bestowed the honour by the Queen on her eighth wedding anniversary in April.
The Royal also had a the Royal Family Order brooch pinned to her chest, another honour she received last year.
As for her jewellery, she wore the Cambridge Lovers' Knot Tiara, which belonged to Princess Diana, as well as diamond and sapphire earrings which were the Queen Mother's.
