The Duchess of Cambridge has prompted a flurry of hits to the L.K. Bennett website this afternoon (not least by Team MC) after stepping out in one of the British label’s new season mid-length dresses at Wimbledon.
Joined by her husband Prince William as they sat on Centre Court, Kate stood out from the crowd in the pretty fire engine red Caylay dress. Costing £250, fans of the 33-year-old royal’s style will be pleased to discover that it is also still in stock (although we’d venture that probably won’t be the case for too much longer.) Teaming her outfit with a glossy blow-dry and Ray-Ban sunglasses, this is by no means the first time that Kate has championed the British high street having stepped out in a number of designs by Reiss, Whistles and Hobbs over the years.
The Cambridges were joined by a number of famous faces in the stands this afternoon, including David Beckham and his son Romeo as well as Kim Sears who were naturally all in attendance to watch British number one Andy Murray take on Vasek Pospisil in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile over on Court One, Bradley Cooper – who is currently treading the boards in The Elephant Man in London’s West End – was spotted sitting next to Roger Federer’s wife Mirka as the two watched the former Wimbledon champion play Gilles Simon.
