Forget designer names, Kate Middleton has proved she's a high street girl at heart, choosing pieces from Reiss and Whistles for her official engagement photos.
In her first ever glamorous photoshoot, the bride-to-be posed alongside fiancé Prince William for the couple's engagement pics, taken by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino.
And while Ms Middleton could have taken her pick from the most celebrated design houses around the world, she instead chose off-the-hanger pieces from the high street.
In one shot, she wears an elegant Reiss white belted dress, thought to have cost £159. A representative for the brand confirms that a version of the dress will be on sale from January 2011.
Meanwhile in the intimate sot of the couple embracing, she wears a £95 scallop edge blouse from Whistles.
