30,000 Hello! readers from around the world were asked to vote for which member of the royal family they thought deserved the ultimate style crown - and Duchess Kate only just made it into the top three, despite her enviable style file.
So, you ask, if Kate didn’t make the cut, then who in Karl’s name is the world’s most stylish royal?
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has won over the people for a second year in a row, scooping a massive 30% of the total vote. She LOVES a Valentino Rock Stud heel and Max Mara tailoring– and apparently that’s enough to rival Kate’s commitment to McQueen.
In second place was Queen Máxima of the Netherlands who embraces the classic fairytale princess look as much as possible (well you would, wouldn’t you?) She’s got a wardrobe’s worth of exquisite lace at her disposal, plus she always tops off her look with an heirloom crown – the kind of accessorising that’s key to winning over your stylish public, non?
The Duchess of Cambridge rocked in at number three on the list, which also featured Queens Letizia and Rania, plus Prince William’s aunt, Sophie the Countess of Wessex.
