Kate Middleton has been voted the best dressed celebrity mum, beating off stiff competition from the red carpet's most glamorous stars.
The Duchess of Cambridge is no stranger to sartorial charts and polls, but this time she's in a different category – yummy mummies.
Having only given birth to her first son Prince George but a couple of weeks ago, the fever around Kate was bound to reach an all-time high, but it's incredible how quickly she's beaten the likes of supermum-of-six Angelina Jolie already.
Kate's post-birth public appearance was flawless – a perfect blow-dry and a sunny smile, Kate looked blissfully content and relaxed despite the media furore. As we already reported the soft baby blue, polka-dot Jenny Packham dress Kate stepped out of hospital in so elegantly was a bespoke creation, but that didn't stop fans of the royal causing the brand's website to crash as they searched desperately for replicas.
The Duchess of Cambridge also saw off competition from the likes of Amanda Holden and Abbey Clancy in the FashionPerks.co.uk poll. Celebrities who didn't fare so well were Katie Price and Kerry Katona, who ranked closer to the bottom of the list.
Despite her well-publicised illness during the early stages of her pregnancy, Kate seems to be taking to motherhood swimmingly. The royal – who's thought to be staying at her parents' home at Bucklebury – is giving the British public a masterclass in how to dress like a fashion icon, pregnant or not. Bravo, Duchess!
