The super-stylish actress has been unveiled as the store's mystery girl in a festive 'Winter Wonderland' film
We've been teased for days over social media as to the identity of Topshop's debut Christmas mini movie star, but now we can reveal that the secret Hollywood actress is: Kate Bosworth.
For the first time ever, the British high street giant has launched a festive film, which shows the super-stylish starlet turning singer for the occasion. The video, inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's famous singing scene in The Fabulous Baker Boys and directed by the actress' film director fiancé Michael Polish, shows Kate standing on a grand piano in a jazz club singing the Christmas classic, Winter Wonderland.
Dressed in a party season perfect burgundy sequined dress and bejewelled pumps, the starlet shows off her singing skills for the first time, complete with a suitably wintry finale where snow falls from the rooftop as she reaches the end of the song.
TOPSHOP CHRISTMAS 2012 COLLECTION
Kate Bosworth said of the festive film: 'This project brings together two important aspects of my life: cinema and fashion. I have always been a fan of the Topshop brand and it has been an honour to work with Sir Phillip and the team. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as we did making it.'
Kate Phelan, creative director of Topshop, adds: 'I think Kate looks effortlessly cool in this film, her voice is spellbinding and I can imagine every girl will want to be wearing Topshop this Christmas when they see her performance.'
