Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with Net-a-Porter to create a capsule collection of punk-themed pieces in tartan and leather. While Karl Lagerfeld has always injected a dose of sophisticated punk to his Chanel collections - from fingerless leather gloves to shredded boucle jackets - we never though we'd see the day when Karl Lagerfeld rocked a Mohawk.
Until now.
Embracing the season's penchant for anarchy, the designer has teamed up with Net-a-Porter to launch the PUNK capsule collection, featuring 11 pieces, including dresses, jackets, sweatshirts and trousers.
Tartan fans will adore the red Macpherson tartan and leather panelled biker jacket with matching trousers, as well as the flirty tartan dresses and mini-kilt. The collection also includes studded leather trousers and a spike-emblazoned sweatshirt for those who like to make a statement with metal hardware.
A 'Karl goes Punk' T-shirt, featuring the designer's face spliced with a Mohican hairdo, is undoubtedly the perfect accompaniment to this season's must-have Chanel Tweed Boy Brick bag.
The limited-edition collection is available in Karl Lagerfeld stores and Net-a-Porter, from today. Prices start at £80.
