We headed to the swanky ME Hotel in London last night to check out the 'Melissa Odabash & Julien MacDonald Resort 2014 collection'
Julien MacDonald was in a jubilant mood as he celebrated the launch of the 'Melissa Odabash & Julien MacDonald Resort 2014 collection' at the ME Hotel last night.
Speaking to Marie Claire, the designer explained how thrilled he was with the event which saw celebrities including Mollie King, Zara Martin, Dionne Bromfield and Made in Chelsea star Rosie Fortescue all take to the catwalk. The collection from the iconic duo compises of sexy swimwear, uber-glamourous beachwear and dazzling evening dresses.
Asked if he was jetting off on a well-deserved holiday, the designer revealed he has no time: 'It's been a crazy few weeks and it's only set to get busier. Tomorrow I'll be starting designs for my SS/14 runway collection so I've definitely got no time to lie in the sun.'
The former BNTM judge made his long-awaited return to LFW in February with his AW/13 show – dazzling the crowd with his Las Vegas-themed collection. So will his SS/14 finale feature glitter cannons and streamers too?
'My AW/13 was just the warm-up,' he declared. 'Julien is back! Watch out is all I can say.'
