Joanna Lumley is putting items from her Absolutely Fabulous wardrobe under the hammer as part of a charity auction for The Prince's Trust.
The actress is donating pieces worn by her cigarette puffing, vodka swilling, on-screen alter ego, Patsy Stone, along with items worn in some of her other famous film and TV roles, such as Purdey in The New Avengers and Marie Jouvet in Trail of the Pink Panther.
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS DOES THE OLYMPICS
Fifty lots of clothing and accessories will be auctioned off in total, including designer items from the actress' personal wardrobe by the likes of Chanel, Betty Jackson and Moschino.
'I'm giving up some of my greatest treasures and happiest memories,' Joanna said. 'I'm so thrilled to think that the proceeds will all go to benefit young people through one of my all-time favourite charities - The Prince's Trust. I love each item and each garment with a passion.'
The auction will take place on Tuesday 13th November at 8pm, at Kerry Taylor Auctions in London. All proceeds raised from the sale will go to The Prince's Trust, which helps disadvantaged young people across the UK.
