As well as winning her first Oscar, Jennifer Lawrence has wowed in her debut ad campaign as the face of Miss Dior
Jennifer Lawrence is the girl of the moment who cemented her triumphant year by scooping the Best Actress Oscar this weekend, and has wowed us in her debut Miss Dior campaign proving why she's the darling of Hollywood.
The 22-year-old, who won the Academy Award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, appears in the spring/summer 2013 ads for the French fashion house's Miss Dior line and proves that the label was right to sign her up in October last year and bank on her becoming the next big star.
In the glamorous pictures, which were shot by Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre, Lawrence wears pieces from Dior's spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection including a black trouser suit, a LBD and a white tuxedo dress, as well as a netted veil and the key styles from the Miss Dior handbag line.

She told WWD: 'It's such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion. It's impossible to be in the industry without getting even the slightest introduction to fashion.'
Ever since the actress was named as the new face of the handbag line, replacing fellow actress Mila Kunis, she has hit the red carpet during the 2013 awards season in a string of stunning Dior gowns. Highlights include the midnight blue dress that she wore to the SAG Awards in January, the embellished blush pink number that she chose for the BAFTAs earlier this month and, of course most recently, last night's fairytale-esque strapless gown to collect her Best Actress Oscar.

Dior has long demonstrated a knack of backing the next big Hollywood stars in their ad campaigns. As well as Lawrence and Kunis, the label has also snapped up Oscar-winning actresses Marion Cotillard and Natalie Portman as the faces of the Lady Dior handbag collection and the Miss Dior fragrance respectively. The Jennifer Lawrence for Miss Dior ads will appear in print and online from April.
