Topshop has announced its new designer collaborator: J.W. Anderson
Topshop has just announced its new designer collaborator, and it's a goodie: J.W. Anderson.
The young British designer and London Fashion Week star will join forces with the high street giant to create a collection jam-packed with pieces in his signature androgynous style to launch in September.
Expect slouchy jersey items, denim, knitwear and outerwear designs, as well as fun accessories including stationary, rubik's cubes, memory sticks, vintage magazines and photography books.
J.W. Anderson said of the venture: 'I am very excited to collaborate with Topshop. It gives me the opportunity to reach a much wider audience with my designs. It has always been very important to me that my collections are made accessible to anyone interested in fashion and design.'
Kate Phelan, Creative Director of Topshop, added: 'The launch with J.W. Anderson is a new and exciting approach for Topshop to our collaborations. The capsule collection is a best of all his design ideas to date, a sort of must-have wardrobe of covetable pieces by this unique designer. The interesting twist, however, is the cool collectable items that will make up the rest of this collection, which J.W. Anderson has picked himself.'
And in even more good news for fashion fans, there will be a second range to drop in stores and online in early 2013.
