Get ready to go behind-the-scenes at Tiffany & Co., with a new documentary that's got everyone talking.
Tiffany & Co. is the latest brand to be given the documentary treatment, with its 177-year history set to be detailed on film.
Director Matthew Miele has taken charge of the exciting project, which will retell Tiffany & Co.'s journey from small shop to world-famous jeweller.
'We're in production over 6 months now, and we've only just begun to scratch the surface of a story that is just so rich,' Miele, who is also known for his fashion documentary, Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's, revealed in a recent press release.
'Whether it's focusing on the Tiffany family one day, to following the priceless Tiffany Diamond to Chine, or documenting how a master craftsmen handmade a classic Schlumberger design, it is all dramatic and inspiring.'
With the documentary set to be released in spring 2015, Miele also told The Hollywood Reporter: 'From the trophy being hoisted at the Super Bowl, to the masterpieces adorning celebrities on the Oscar red carpet, all the way down to the design of the dollar in my pocket, the Tiffany & Co. reach is just so vast.'
Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young founded the company, initially called Tiffany, Young and Ellis, as a 'stationary and fancy goods emporium' in 1837. Jewellery became the brand's specialism in 1853, and they haven't looked back since.
