A-listers out in force for Inglourious Basterds NY premiere
It may not have had Brad and Angelina dominating the red carpet, but the Inglourious Basterds New York premiere attracted a host of stylish stars.
With so many fashionistas filling one room, the evening provided the perfect showcase of next season's trends.
Naturally, leading the pack was the flick's leading lady Diane Kruger. Effortlessly chic, she worked A/W '09's penchant for all things sparkly, in an intricately embellished sequin black minidress. A slick of ruby red lipstick provided the perfect finishing touch.
And she wasn't the only starlet tapping autumn's key looks. Brit It-model Agyness Deyn flew the flag for rock chick style, and made a sartorial nod to next season's love of leather, with a neat pencil skirt, teamed with a Rocky Horror tee and metallic strappy sandals. Sleeker than her typically grungy take on styling, we're loving Aggy's new signature glam.
Meanwhile the ever fashion-forward Michelle Monaghan tackled one of the trickiest upcoming trends – the bold shoulder. Pulling it off with ease, she donned an electric blue bodycon minidress, with sculptural peaked silhouette. Watch and learn ladies!

In other style notes, the little black blazer continues to rule the red carpet, with both Emma Roberts and Entourage's Emmanuelle Chriqui layering up with tailored designs. While when it comes to hemlines, it's all about sky-high, with Alexa Chung, Lindsay Lohan and Julia Stiles all opting for thigh-skimming numbers.
