You Will Not Believe How Much ONE STEP Is Worth To A Supermodel...

The drinks are on Karlie Kloss...
We all know that the biggest supermodels will always command the highest fees in the business (remember when Linda Evangelista declared that she ‘wouldn't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day’ in the 90s?) But have you ever wondered how much today’s Insta-girls command per step?
According to new financial research, Karlie Kloss will earn £193 for every single step she takes on the catwalk this month. That’s £5,835 for a 30 step show walk, or £3,680 if she ran to catch the bus. Take that, Linda.
A newbie in the industry would of course earn a lot less. According to the analysis, conducted by the Association of Accounting Technicians, 17 year-old Molly Bair earned just £1,700 for walking in 48 shows so far this year, including Alexander McQueen and Chanel Couture. The big money at this level, apparently, is all in the advertising campaigns, worth around £15,000 per gig, even for someone with under a year's experience.
‘The figures were based on calculating the average amount a beginner model, an established model and a supermodel earns to walk runway divided by the length of a 30 metre catwalk,’ a statement from the AAT said. ‘However, once their annual salaries from the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter 2015 fashion shows and advertising campaigns are combined, the gap between model status and pay cheque becomes even more apparent.’
So gaining ‘super’ status really is everything. As one of the world’s most in-demand names, AAT estimates that Karlie has already banked £81,000 from the 22 shows she’s walked so far in 2015, topping up her earnings to a cool £1.8 million when you add in her numerous campaigns, endorsements and other projects.
The drinks are on Miss Kloss, then.
