Here's how Kate Middleton paid tribute to Diana in that photo
At baby Archie's christening this weekend, Meghan and Harry made sure they paid tribute to Princess Diana in small ways. For example, they posed on the same sofa where Diana and Charles sat with baby Harry at his christening back in 1984.
They also invited the late Princess' sisters to the intimate ceremony, which also included Charles and Camilla, as well as William and Kate.
And speaking of Kate, she too subtly nodded to her late mother-in-law on the special day, via her outfit.
She stood out in the family portrait in a pink Stella McCartney dress, which she accessorised with a headband in the same hue.
But her earrings were even more special, because they used to belong to Princess Diana. The pearl drop earrings, dubbed the Collingwood pearl earrings as they were given by the jeweller to the Princess as a wedding present, were one of her favourite pairs.
In fact, she even wore them to Prince Harry's christening, which just ties everything in quite nicely, doesn't it?
So thoughtful.
