The famous London department store switched on its Christmas lights with a spectacular firework display
With just eight weeks to go until Christmas, the festive season kicked off in style last night as Harrods switched on its Christmas lights.
The famous Knightsbridge departmant store lit up its pretty light display in front of hundreds of shoppers down below and marked the occasion with a spectacular firework display.
The fairy tale-themed display lit up the night sky with its 11,000 bulbs, twinkling shop window hedges and two large Christmas trees either side of the main entrance to the store.

Earlier in the day, Harrods decorated its windows with its Disney Princess-inspired dresses as designed by the likes of Versace, Valentino and Oscar de la Renta. The gowns include a gown for Sleeping Beauty created by Elie Saab, a Marchesa look for The Little Mermaid's Ariel and a sexed up Cinderella courtesy of Versace.
