Gwyneth Paltrow and Michael Kors have teamed up to launch a special one-off capsule collection of seriously chic clothes and accessories for Christmas. The luxe pieces include three exclusive items for Gwyneth's brand, Goop, which reflect Michael Kors' 'signature style and Gwyneth's 'exceptional taste'.
But the most exciting element of the collection, which launched online today, is the promotional video which accompanies it, which sees Gwyneth and Michael hook up in LA to prepare for Christmas. It. Looks. So. Fun.
Michael joins Gwynnie (who's dressed in the exclusive Goop banker peplum sweater, natch) in the kitchen where she makes cocktails, then the pair head to the living room where they dress the Christmas tree and wrap presents.
Michael told WWD ahead of the launch: 'I have always been intrigued by the idea of someone who can juggle all the balls in the air and do it with great style, make it look easy, be smart and have a sense of humour.
'We always said, "Wouldn't it be great if some time we could do something together, in whatever way." We started talking about the idea that when you buy something, you often don't know that it's going to turn out to be your favourite piece. Inevitably designers don't make it again and, she said, "It could drive you crazy".'
Check out the video below and see the collection at goop.com. Don't miss the hilarious outtakes at the end of the video, when Gwynnie gets into a spot of both with a cocktail shaker. Amazing...
