Gucci + Dogs: Could This Be Our Fave Collab To Date
To celebrate Chinese New Year, which begins on February 16, Gucci has released a 'Year of the Dog' collection' that is filled with items paying homage to man's (and woman's) best friend.
The adorable new dog motifs were inspired by a pillow that the artist Helen Downie, AKA Unskilled Worker, gave as a gift to Gucci's Creative Director Alessandro Michele and which feature an illustration of his two Boston terriers, Bosco and Orso.
Spanning shoes, bags, hoodies, bomber jackets and even jewellery, the limited collection totals 63 items.
The campaign imagery, is also sure to get dog lovers excited too. Shot by Petra Collins, it features numerous breeds including a poodle, Maltese, and a very Lassie like Rough Collie. Now if only they could come home with us too.
The collection is now available both in Gucci stores and on gucci.com.
