If, like us, you're counting down the days until the new series of Girls hits our TV screens, you'll be pleased to know that it's on its way as the show's cast walked the red carpet last night for the season 2 premiere.
Show creator and lead star Lena Dunham, aka Hannah Horvath, joined fellow cast members Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet and London-born Jemima Kirke (who play Marnie Michaels, Shoshanna Shapiro and Jessa Johansson respectively) at the HBO-hosted screening at NYC's Skirball Centre.

The quartet stepped out in style clad in monochrome and gold. Lena rocked a black jumpsuit with a flash of white and pumps, while Allison dazzled in a strapless gold top and black skirt by Altuzarra. Zosia packed a sartorial punch in a monochrome dress with architectural detailing on the shoulders, and finally Jemima opted for a gothic/glam feel in a black velvet dress and Charlotte Olympia's coveted kitty heels.
But it wasn't all about the Girls girls. The boy cast members were in attendance too, including Adam Driver and Alex Karpovsky who both looked sharp in classic suits. A whole host of famous faces joined them on the red carpet to show their support for the Golden Globe-nominated TV series. Notable attendees included Solange Knowles (wearing a printed trouser suit by Just Cavalli), Zoe Kravitz, Terry Richardson and Diane Von Furstenberg.
Girls season 2 is set to air in the US later this month.
