Girl About Town: What The Fashion Girls Did This Week
It was all about cocktails, concept stores and an Oscar winner (yes, really)
It was all about cocktails, concept stores and an Oscar winner (yes, really)
The Marie Claire fashion team were out in full force this week – sipping summer cocktails, attending the launch of a new concept store and meeting Omega's gorgeous new ambassador (hint: he's an Oscar winner)…
Harrods was our destination on Wednesday evening and if you thought this premium department store couldn't get any more luxurious you're wrong. It has just launched a brand-new Superbrands Floor, which is now home to the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Givenchy and Alexander McQueen. We browsed all the stores and made a big wish list while sipping a few delicious cocktails and admiring the fabulous flower displays.
Thursday evening we really couldn't believe our luck. Omega invited us to Quaglino's to meet its new ambassador – Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne. He turned up with his equally gorgeous wife and was swooned at by all the guests!

The same night, we also had a moment to pop into the Fendi Summer Cocktail party to celebrate the Bond Street store's first anniversary.
Mary Charteris was on the decks, and a flock of the brand's friends, including Daisy Lowe, attended the celebrations.
