Ever fantasised about a room full of chocolate? (Ed: 'Yessss!') Designer Karl Lagerfeld swaps Chanel for chocolate to make the dream a reality.
To celebrate the launch of new Magnum Ghana and Ecuador, Lagerfeld has channelled his unmistakable flair to create a hotel suite made entirely of chocolate.
The suite is carefully crafted out of 10.5 tonnes of chocolate (we're salivating already) and includes a chocolate sculpture of Lagerfeld muse, Baptise Giabiconi draped on the chocolate bed. Be still our beating hearts...
‘My idea was to flirt with a mix of modern and traditional French influences to create something remarkable,’ says Lagerfeld. ‘It has been an absolute pleasure to design.’
As well being delicious and stylish, the chocolate suite is celebrating the launch of Magnam Ecuador and Ghana – made with beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms – so you'll be helping the planet with every chocolate fix.
As though we needed an excuse...
