Eva Mendes does fairytale glam for the 2008 Campari calendar

EVA MENDES HAS been unveiled as the face of the prestigious 2008 Campari calendar. Taking over from last year's Campari girl, Salma Hayek, the Hitch actress stars in all twelve months of the calendar, in a series of images based on fairy tales. As a result, we get Eva in a red cape with wolf at her side as Little Red Riding Hood, reclining on a bed as Sleeping Beauty and as the Queen of Hearts for Alice and Wonderland.

The photographs, taken by iconic Italian photographer Marino Parisotto, were all shot on a beach in Rosignano, Leghorn, Italy. Mendes wears a series of stunning gowns, including designs from Roberto Cavalli, Max Chaol, Elie Saab and Alberta Ferretti.

Speaking yesterday at the Campari press conference, Ms Mendes described the project as 'such a great experience.' Wearing a red Alberta Ferretti dress and Sergio Rossi heels, the actress revealed her beauty secrets for such a shoot and commented, 'I work out, but then I eat what I want. I drink a lot of water, especially lemon with water.'

Campari CEO Bob Kunze-Concewitz commented on calendar, 'Eva has been the perfect choice, she is an international star with great flair and has interpreted the Campari Tales with passion and sublime grace.'
