Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson stepped out in a racy lace and leather dress at a Stateside soiree last night, looking a whole world away from her on-screen counterpart.

The actress wowed onlookers at a party at Pullino's Bar and Pizzeria in New York, when she arrived in this revealing lace and leather creation - hot off the runway from Christopher Kane's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.
So while she might have left our shores to continue her education at the prestigious Brown University, it's nice to see that she's still flying the flag for British design talent.
And in keeping with the Brit-abroad theme, the night was in honour of the London Show Rooms initiative - a programme to help raise the profile of London designers in the States.

But it wasn't all play and no work for Miss Watson. Emma was on co-host duty for the evening's proceedings, alongside Sarah Mower - the British Fashion Council's Ambassador for Emerging Talent.
Emma - who turns 20 next month - was making her first public appearance since splitting from long-term financier boyfriend Jay Barrymore, after a two-year relationship.
The low-key starlet recently hit the headlines when she appeared in the university production of Anton Checkov's Three Sisters - for which she received a standing ovation from her peers.
We're on the look out for more Emma Watson star style over the coming months, as she prepares to hit the promotional trail for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
So she can't completely bid farewell to Hermione Granger just yet...
