Debenhams launches the inflatable boob job
An instant cleavage boost for just £5 - new pads offer to up your bra size in one simple squeeze
An instant cleavage boost for just £5 - new pads offer to up your bra size in one simple squeeze
Most women will carry their favourite lippy, a lash-lenghthening mascara or kissable gloss in their clutch bag for a quick confidence boost when out on the town, but what about carrying the means to up an entire bra cup size in your clutch this Christmas?
That's the promise that a new lingerie innovation - the inflatable bra pads - from Debenhams makes. Easy to pop in your bag, these pump-up pads create a cleavage boost in any bra, giving the illusion that the wearer has gone up a cup size instantly.
Like your traditional chicken fillet boob-boosters, the difference is these pads remain flat until the pump button is squeezed, inflating to the desired size. This can then be adjusted, either bigger or smaller, depending on your requirements!
Annette Warburton, head of lingerie buying at Debenhams commented: 'We predict women all over the UK will be storing these in their desk drawers ready for the mistletoe moment with the office hunk. Plus they're easily and quickly deflated when Nigel from Accounts approaches after a few glasses of mulled wine.'
The real beauty though, she mentions, is that unlike silicone or oil inserts, the adjustable nature allows the pads to be tailored to provide either a 'va-va-voom effect... or a just natural enhancement.'
At £5 a pop, they're certainly cheaper, and far less painful option than a boob job, but will women really be rushing to the loos to up their assets this festive season?
