Day one of London Fashion Week: Rave on
So, it was 'see ya' NYC and 'well hello there' London and from the outset it was a clear case of 'Toto I don't think we're in Kansas anymore'.

London, you see, is a different creature altogether, especially when it comes to nailing that cool-girl attitude. Of course, the Big Apple does Downtown chic with aplomb but when it comes to getting down and dirty (dirty hair being the buzz word of the day), us Brits have it well and truely cornered, and grunge could be found in bucketloads.
The narrative may have been marginally different each time but the overriding theme was 'lived in' hair and make-up with several all-nighters pulled whether the girl in question was coming back from a party or a festival. In fact, despite being AW13, the vibe was unseasonably focused on festival frolics from the 'day three Glastonbury' look at Issa to the 'rave styling' at House of Holland.
Three day old hair aside, I for one intend to be rocking the punky eye courtesy of MAC's Black Track Fluid Line as seen at Moschino Cheap & Chic (even if I am safely tucked up in bed by midnight having done a double cleanse.)
