Claire Danes taps Narciso Rodriguez for her wedding dress design
Claire Danes has revealed that her longtime friend, the designer Narciso Rodriguez, is designing her wedding dress, and admitted she gets 'weepy' just thinking about the big day.
The 30-year-old actress is set to marry British actor Hugh Dancy, and who better to design her gown than Rodriguez, who she's been a muse to for years.
Accompanying the designer to Monday night's CFDA Awards, naturally in a dress of his design, the actress revealed to People that work had started on her gown.
'I'm so privileged,' she said of working with the designer. 'I'm collaborating a little bit, but I'm just trusting him implicitly. I'm offing my ideas, but they always pale in comparison to his.'
As for the process and she admitted, 'I get weepy... more emotional than I was expecting. It's intimate.'
Speaking of the bride-to-be, Rodriguez added, 'She's an extraordinary woman inside and out... you can't hide it. I just try to make her look more beautiful, and it's not hard to make her look beautiful.'
