Kaia Gerber fronts the Young Versace campaign
Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford's ten-year-old daughter, has been unveiled as the face of Versace's Young Versace line.
Young Versace is a collection for boys and girls aged from 0-12 and is described as the 'quintessential Versace style with a youthful rock ’n’ roll twist.'
Speaking about Kaia's appointment as the face of the spring/summer 2012 campaign, Donatella Versace, creative director of Versace said: 'Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her.
'Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother's footsteps.'
Cindy, 45, couldn't be more proud of her daughter's modelling debut, which was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and art directed by Giovanni Bianco. She said: 'I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign.
