Now you can shop directly from the new Christian Louboutin website, which launches today
Shoe lovers, the wait is finally over! Christian Louboutin’s eagerly-anticipated UK e-commerce website launches today.
For the first time ever, British shoppers will be able to buy the French maestro’s signature red-soled designs directly from the label’s online boutique.
The e-shop will open its virtual doors with the complete womenswear and menswear spring/summer 2012 collections, as well as the recent limited edition 20th anniversary line and an exclusive selection of styles from the women’s classic range.
The new site gives you the choice of navigating straight to the online store or exploring the world of Louboutin through the old corporate website.
Shoppers can browse for designs by colour, size or heel height and the site’s functionality allows you to view the shoes and bags from a series of angles, a 360degree spin, and zoom in and out for a closer inspection, with videos soon to follow. Each design is set to a backdrop of photos from the designer’s personal far-flung travels – think a New York skyline, a Los Angeles swimming pool and a snap of chickens taken at the Parisian’s farm in France.
What’s more, visitors to the site will be able to get style advice from a team of online personal shopping experts via live web chats and over the phone, and share their new finds via Facebook and Twitter.

And there are more digital initiatives for the site in the pipeline. Later this spring, you’ll also be able to pre-order footwear and bags from the autumn/winter 2012 collection before it hits the e-boutique, plus add items to a personalised wish list, which can be updated on the go from the soon-to-launch iPhone app. Sound good?
Click on over to the Christian Louboutin website now to take a look and start shopping.
