Notably absent from the fashion world for the last few years, French couturier Christian Lacroix is making a welcome return with a 30-piece collection for Desigual.
After being declared bankrupt in 2009, and losing the rights to design under his own name, Christian Lacroix has returned to designing, under the name of 'Monsieur Lacroix'.
Despite his background in couture, we think Christian's vibrant shades and textures are a perfect match for high street brand Desigual, equally renowned for their colourful, patterned designs.
Lacroix says: 'I was awestruck by the first girl dressed in Desigual that I saw in Paris. As I watched her, I could recognise in her a member of my own tribe' he says.
The A/W 11 collection is set to hit stores next season.
