Bid for Cheryl Cole’s Julien Macdonald dress in the ASOS Marketplace auction
Bid for Cheryl Cole’s Julien Macdonald dress in the ASOS Marketplace auction
Not lucky enough to win one of Cheryl Cole’s dresses in the ASOS auction so far? Fear not, because there’s still one more up for grabs.
In a case of saving the best for last, today you could win the metallic Julien Macdonald dress with sexy cut-out detailing Cheryl wore to the 2008 X Factor final – when her protégée Alexandra Burke won the show.
Fancy bidding? All you have to do is visit ASOS Marketplace and find the dress ID then text the number plus the amount you want to bid to 84383. The dress sale is a lowest unique bid auction, so the smallest amount not bid by anyone else will win the item. So you could own the shimmering beaded dress from as little as 1p. Hurrah!
And as well as owning a little slice of pop and TV history, you’ll be giving to charity too, as all the proceeds raised will be donated to the pop star’s Cheryl Cole Foundation, which supports initiatives organised by the Prince’s Trust. The auction has already raised thousands of pounds for youth charities in Cheryl’s native North East of England.
‘I am absolutely amazed at the amount of interest the clothes have had and cannot believe how generous you have all been,’ Cheryl said in a statement.
She added: ‘I can't stop smiling! Thank you all so much. I'm hoping that today's Julien McDonald dress, which I wore for Alexandra Burke's X Factor final, is going to be a popular choice too. This dress is very, very special to me, it's such a unique piece!’
