Ever lusted after one of Cheryl Cole’s dresses? Thanks to ASOS, your dream could come true...

From Monday 13th June, fans will be able to bid for one of the pop star's dresses just by logging on to the online fashion store. Ten dresses will be up for grabs, including six items she wore on the X Factor. A further 10 will then be released, with one new dress hitting the site each working day for the next fortnight.

And as well as owning a little slice of pop and TV history, you’ll be giving to charity too, as all the proceeds raised will be donated to the singer’s Cheryl Cole Foundation, which supports initiatives organised by the Prince’s Trust.

'When I was clearing out my wardrobe it occurred to me that the clothes I was bagging up for charity could benefit my charity,' explains Cheryl. 'Which is how the idea for the closet auction started.'

The dress sale is a lowest unique bid auction, so the smallest amount not bid by anyone else will win the item. So you could own one of Cheryl’s dresses from as little as 1p. Brilliant, no?
