Because everybody wants their own personalised accessories, right? Now the purveyor of playful footwear, Charlotte Olympia is at it, inspiring us to invest in our flats collection just in time for summer with her new range of ABC shoes.
Charlotte’s newest capsule collection has reignited our primary school addiction to sticker collecting, as each pair comes with a set of 52 adhesive leather ones. As well as serving to remind us of the importance of practicing our alphabet, there are a bunch of chic symbols to mix and match in - champagne anyone?!
Not feeling inspired? Take some ideas from the accompanying Charlotte Olympia’s Guide to Accessorising booklet which has 26 cute illustrations designed to get your DIY designer juices flowing.
It's a busy time for the shoe designer of the moment, with a new store opening in London's Brompton Cross and the launch of trainers to sit alongside her signature flat styles.
'It's definitely going to be different to my other London store,' Charlotte tells us. 'I love to make my store interiors completely different to eachother. Whether I'm designing a room for a store or in my home, I always put my own stamp on it, but keep the building’s original style and sensibilities.'
'Trainers were really the last piece left to launch to complete the Charlotte Olympia shoe wardrobe,' she says. 'These aren't quite like trainers for the gym though - they're low tops and high tops with signature brand traits like the cat face on the tongue, made in velvets and satins. They're still very us.'
