Charlize wows and shocks in five-inch heels
Charlize Theron definitely had the glam factor last night as she wowed crowds in Paris in a glowing gold Lanvin minidress – and a precarious pair of five-inch heels.
The 5ft, 10in star hardly needs a height-boost, but chose the sky-high Christian Dior heels to work the red carpet in at the Paris premiere of her new movie The Burning Plain.
The £400 snakeskin shoes – complete with gold spike heels – meant the South African actress towered at a whopping 6ft, 3in, dwarfing her director Guillermo Ariaga.
But Theron's heels weren't hogging all the limelight – her 80s-style gold lamé Lanvin dress, complete with ruched shoulder detail, grabbed its fair share of attention, too.
The new movie stars Charlize as a woman who tries to form a bond with her mother, played by Kim Basinger, after a difficult childhood.
Early reports suggest it's a little gem.
