West London-based Bigoodi has become a popular children's destination
Business is booming at a French salon for children, despite the difficult economic crisis.
Bigoodi, located in Parsons Green, West London, was launched in May 2012 and has become one of the area's most popular children's destinations.
As well as selling luxury children's clothes by the likes of Tricot de Margot and De Luna, the store offers haircuts, pampering and styling and bespoke birthday parties for 2-15 year-olds featuring song contests, dressing up competitions and quirky goody bags.
Kids who visit the salon are truly treated like little princes and princesses, with their own private seating areas and TV to watch the latest popular programmes as they have their hair cut and styled.
Co-owner Sarah Gavin said starting a new business despite a recession has been hugely rewarding.
She said: 'It's been an incredible 12 months and despite the tough economic climate, we've taken Bigoodi from strength-to-strength and welcomed a wonderfully loyal customer base.
