Belle’s yellow dress in the new Beauty and the Beast trailer is what dreams are made of
Is there a prettier gown in Disney princess history? We think not.

There’s no doubt in our mind that Belle’s yellow ballgown is the most iconic Disney princess dress ever. Period. Honestly, don’t even try to throw in Cinderella’s frock or Sleeping Beauty’s gown in the mix.
So understandably, we’re pretty excited to see how it will be brought to life in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast live action movie - which is out in March FYI.
Lucky for us, a new official trailer has been released, giving us a better glimpse of Emma Watson’s ballgown and we can confirm our dreams have come true.
The clip sees Emma dancing with Dan Steven’s the Beast to the iconic Tale As Old As Time tune, and the dress flows beautifully with every step.
We love the gold detailing on the bodice, which shimmers under the ballroom's candlelights, while the skirt has just the right amount of ruffles.

Emma’s hair is also styled just like Belle’s in the cartoon, gold headband and all.
While the yellow gown is clearly the main event, the trailer hints at more incredible costumes, including Belle’s blue library dress, which has been given a folklore update with embroidered flowers.
