As soon as we heard that Joseph Altuzarra was launching a brand new collaboration with Target, we couldn't wait to find out more. And now the wait is finally over - well, almost. The collection launches on the 13th of September on net-a-porter.com and looks set to be another sell-out collection for the site. Promising a wealth of flattering dresses, office (and bar)-friendly co-ords and form-fitting pencil skirts, this could be the collection to fix every wardrobe worry we can think of.
His brand of sexy yet unflashy fashion is seriously covetable, which makes this affordable new line even more exciting. Everyone from Michelle Obama to Rihanna are fans, but Altuzarra still isn't a household name in the UK just yet. If you're still unsure of just who the man behind the brand is, read on for a little insight into his world...

You’ve had lots of support from some huge stars – who have you been most excited or surprised to see in Altuzarra? Actually it's when the they tell me they've gone out to stores and worn pieces in their everyday life, that I am the most excited about.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a fashion designer? I'd probably be interested to work in the film industry.
How did you approach designing your Target collection? Did you do anything differently to when you design for your mainline? We wanted this collaboration to have its own narrative that felt specific to the Target customer, but we always have the Altuzarra woman in mind. The process has been similar to working our main collections; we gave the same attention and thought every step of the way. Target has been a true partner, from design, production, to marketing and advertising. It has been a wonderful experience working with their team.
Who do you hope to see wearing your Target collection? I hope the collection will appeal to a mix of customers who know and love our brand and want to see this special moment for us, as well as those who are new to Altuzarra. My hope is that pieces from the collection can enable women to embrace their confidence, beauty and sense of sexiness and seductiveness.
