Alice Temperley has launched her new sparkling website today, with a little help from Thandie Newton.
This will be music to the ears of new mum Kate Middleton, and her younger sister Pippa, who have long been fans of the British brand.
A key feature of the new website is the company’s first ever blog – The Temperley Times. The blog will be constantly updated with all things Temperley; backstage shots, interviews with friends of Temperley, messages from the designer herself and celebrities who will share their Temperley picks. An interactive Temperley timeline will also be hosted on the site allowing visitors to see the brand's achievements over the past 12 years. All that, and it looks pretty beaut, too.
A digital presence has always been key to the brand’s success – their online sales rose 200 percent in the last year, and the company’s largest proportion of sales comes from online. That'll be all that home shopping the Duchess of Cambridge does, then. As part of the website re-branding, Temperley looks to become a slicker online machine more generally with hopes that customers will soon be able to pre-order looks from the spring/summer 2014 catwalk, signalling an exciting new era for Temperley.
One of our oldest style-crushes, Thandie Newton, who has long been a brand ambassador for Temperley, features on the new website. The A-lister appears on a 'What I Wore' section of the company's blog, talking us through her favourite outfits.
Thandie wore the Francine top and Freya Ribbon skirt from the SS13 range to the photocall for her new movie Rogue in Cannes earlier this year. She describes it on the site as 'The most glorious t-shirt and skirt ever created'.

She also explains why she chose to wear the Ariel Dress from the Pre Fall 12 range to the premiere of Good Deeds in Los Angeles in February last year, revealing: 'I felt amazing in this; chic glamour. Temperley is always classy with a bit of rock and roll.'
