The British designer's first foray into lingerie - ever - will debut in October, when the new 23-piece collection for her Somerset range at John Lewis hits stores. And it sure is enticing.
The gorgeous new line features boudoir-ready kimono-style dressing gowns, cashmere robes, YSL's Le Smoking-inspired pyjama sets, sexy silky shorts and cami sets and eyelash-lace trimmed bras and knickers, in Old Hollywood glamour girl balconette silhouettes and a soft Eastern-inspired 'Night Floral' print.
The collection also includes gift items like a silk eye mask that's sure to tempt party girls and jet-set travellers.
'Lingerie is my next love after clothing; I think it is what is worn underneath that really inspires a woman to feel beautiful in her clothes – that inner, secret glamour,' Temperley says of the new collection.
'We know that the Somerset woman values beautiful fabric and detail, so I was really happy with the print and lace we have brought into the designs, all in a luxurious silk for an amazing price.

'It was also fun to play with the sleepwear; the tux is especially nostalgic of the black and white Ginger Rogers movies of my childhood.'
Somerset by Alice Temperley lingerie retails from £15 and hits John Lewis on 1 October. Race you there!
