Love Alexander Wang? Love H&M? Love Black? You'll love this latest collection, then...

After a long wait, the Alexander Wang X H&M collection has finally landed in our inbox, and it did not dissappoint.

Taking up the reins as the latest designer to join forces with H&M, Wang announced the exciting news way back in April, leaving plenty of time for us fashion-folk to only dream of what was to come. And it's safe to say, it has surpassed all our expectations.

Wang wanted the collection to pair sports and performance with everyday life, creating an urban uniform for the modern woman. Think fail-safe sportswear staples like leggings and sweatshirts, updated with a high fashion-edge, made of mesh and quick-dry fabrics (check out those panelled leggings).

And let's not limit this collection to the gym, no, there are plenty of pieces to work into all areas of our wardrobes. Outerwear plays a key role in the collection, with a quilted leather bomber jacket taking centre stage. Or if it's a rainy day, why not throw on that water-repellent parka jacket, complete with peak cap detailing on the hood. So far, so Wang.

Yes, it's safe to say this is not your average high-street offering. That signature Wang design aesthetic is present in every area of this super-wearable range, with plenty of embossed sweatshirts and t-shirts displaying the Alexander Wang branding. Technical fabrics have also played a crucial role, picking up on the designer's love of innovation. Look to the foam-injected crocodile patterned sweatshirt. Or try those scuba lace-up heels and rubberised leather shoulder bags.
