Alexander McQueen has launched five new limited-edition scarf designs to celebrate Savage Beauty, the sell-out exhibition that opened in its new London home, the V&A, last weekend.
Only 100 of each style have been made, each featuring a tribute print to an iconic Alexander McQueen collection. There’s Shalom Harlow’s spray-painted dress from the SS09 collection, super-digital design around those famous Armadillo shoes from SS10’s Plato’s Atlantis and a tartan mix effort evoking AW06’s Widows Of Culloden. We’re calling this out as future collector’s gold.

McQueen’s silk scarves are one of the brand’s best-selling regulars – pretty much every major starlet owns one of its iconic skull designs.
The exhibition is guaranteed to be one of the best fashion fests of the whole year, with rooms dedicated to the designer’s couture-like corsetry and razor sharp tailoring plus an accessories ‘Cabinet Of Curiosities’.

We think these pure silk scarves are the most luxe souvenirs you can find – they retail at £345 each and are available from both the Alexander McQueen London store at 4-5 Old Bond Street and the brand’s website.
